Our fully automated batching facilities utilize the latest in batch technology and environmental controls which ultimately gives Hogg Ready Mix the ability to consistently produce a top quality product for our customer.
Coupled with this, a state of the art GPS (Global Positioning System) truck tracking system allows our dispatchers to monitor closely the precise location and status of each ready mix truck at all times to ensure prompt and efficient delivery.
Hogg Ready Mix has been producing quality ready mixed concrete since 1954, and the company itself has been around almost a hundred years longer than even that.
Hogg has been around over 135 years, but have not always been involved with the concrete industry. During inception in 1876, firewood and coal was supplied for household heating purposes. Eventually, Hogg shifted away from firewood, becoming only a coal supplier.
Later, when oil became the main product for household heating they moved into the fuel oil business, as well as the building supplies business at the same time.
In 1954, almost 80 years into the life of the company, Hogg decided to try their hand at ready mixed concrete. Shortly after that they built a plant, which they used to produce both ready mix concrete and quality concrete blocks.

Hogg Fuel & Supply Limited is proud to be associated with GVCA (Grand Valley Construction Association). Hogg Fuel & Supply Limited is also one of the few concrete producers in the province who have been members of the RMCAO (Ready Mixed Concrete Association of Ontario) since its inception in 1959. Both our facilities are RMCAO certified and both hold “seal of special quality” which requires Hogg Fuel & Supply Ltd. to meet to the most stringent requirements.
Our Kitchener Plant is one of only a few plants in Ontario currently ECO certified by the RMCAO. As a long standing member who takes great pride in quality and remaining in the forefront of the industry, we see the need to address the issues of Sustainable Development within the construction industry. We are seeing an increasing number of specifications that refer to Sustainable Development, LEED or Green Building.
